Here are some guidelines to help you get the most from your yoga class experience:
-
Arrive 10-15 minutes before class
is scheduled to begin so that you can relax and feel present.
We begin classes promptly at the start times.
No late arrivals will be buzzed in,
so please do not press the downstairs buzzer.
The "Do Not Disturb" sign means that class has begun,
so please respect others and do not knock on the door.
-
Many students like to lie quietly on their mat
or gently move and stretch to prepare for doing yoga.
Please keep conversations to a minimum.
-
No Shoes in the Studio.
If you forgot something,
please remove shoes before going back into the studio.
-
No Cell Phones or other electronic devices.
-
It''s best to practice yoga on an empty stomach,
or at least 2 hours after eating a light meal.
-
Wear loose, comfortable clothing in layers,
so you can remove/add layers
as body temperature may change during the class.
-
Bring a mat or beach towel to practice on,
and a blanket for covering up during relaxation.
Yoga ties and other props are provided.
-
We ask that guests do not wear perfumes, scented lotions or oils
as they may cause allergic reactions in others.
-
To maximize the benefits of the class experience,
you should attend once or twice per week,
and practice at least 10 minutes at home two or three times per week.
